Find a home for six queens. Each needs its own row, column, and colored region.

Place exactly one queen in each row, column, and region.
Queens cannot touch, even diagonally. Distant diagonals are allowed.
Use crosses to rule out cells as you work.

Make room for a queen.

Tap a cell to place or remove a queen. In Mark empty mode, tap or drag to add crosses. Start on a cross to erase marks; queens stay protected. Arrow keys move focus; Enter or Space places. X marks a cell, and Z undoes.

Region letters and thick boundaries help you see the groups. A red ! means two queens break a rule.

In practice, a hint places a correct queen and clears misplaced ones. Today’s puzzle has no hints.
